Solid Heavy rain here - no thunder or lightening though.

My garden's really appreciating it - I wish I had aerated it last night now but too lazy. My Bad. Another round of moss fighting to come .

Full on thunder, lightning and torrential downpour at around 6am, few light showers, but now raining hard again.

Typically I’ve got this week off. Looks like I’m not doing much today.

There's a moonbow round a near-full moon, in a clear sky, with Jupiter next to it. It looks very :o 8-)

There's a total eclipse of the full moon visible today... if you're somewhere around here in the Pacific:

I'm going to take a punt at https://moonphases.co.uk/moon-calendar

A totally clear sky tonight (apart from many, many planes...), lots of stars etc about, and a hard frost to complete the seasonal effect :D

Yep -4 here tonight. Can’t remember having seen that for a while.

I’ve been reading the posts of a twitter weather bod recently and apparently the later the first frost of winter the colder the winter we will have…

I reckon it's going to be a proper cold winter just because last year was so mild, and it does feel like cold winters happen on alternate years.

My car showed -3 on the M25 and M20 but no gritters were out which I was more than happy about! Probably can't find anyone to drive them.
How about not having a sig at all?

I can imagine it, the "feels like" temp is minus pretty much all the way through including Tuesday (as far as that forecast goes), even with barely a breeze. I just hope for a warm bit so I can put the winters on

As per others sentiments, welcome back GG. :)

It was trying to snow in Leeds last night, but it failed. It didn't stop the roads from being greasy as all fuck though, and the new found torque in the BMW made some roundabout exits more interesting than they usually are

Fecking cold up here.

-4° ("feels like" -7°), I think that's the coldest here so far this season.

We got all the snow and all the cold, clearly. -10C at home and a low of -11C a mile away outside our local pub.

Only -4º here, with pavements covered in compressed snow and ice which make walking treacherous. Snow is only fun when it's fresh.

I had -8.5degC this morning, plus a burst pipe in the house. The cold itself doesn't really bother me, but all the shit that goes tits up as a result does!
