And I just rewatched it:

"We will stop all gatherings of more than 2 people in public, excluding people you live with."

It was stay at home, not stay in your house.

Looks like I'll be SORN'ing the Civic, seeing as MOT expires early April.

Living alone is great for isolation but my word the next three+ weeks will be tedious.

If you’re allowed in a park then the garden is no problem

Well, Pornhub gave the Italians free Premium access when they were locked down, I hope they do the same for us now.

There could be a legal point in this. I can’t find a solid definition of “home” but various descriptions do seem to focus on a home being the structure you live in.

My garden isn’t a structure. And as long as I don’t buy any more cars in the near future, I won’t be living the garden either.

I don’t know where you’re getting that from? I’ve not seen people service and MoT cars from home :!:

MOT garages aren’t one of the essential services so how can you possibly have a road legal car once it expires within this lockdown period. Guess you’ll just have to drive a non legal car to the supermarket...

Well, for some vehicles MOTs are suspended for 3 months. It's possible the same will follow for cars.

Where are all these Police coming from that will be checking everyone is on essential journeys? BoJo and Co. sacked most of them by now?

And how are they even going to know what is legitimate? You could claim you’re visiting a relative to help, or going to a supermarket...

Lets not kid ourselves people, it's gonna be 'best effort' policing of it. Don't be a prick and you'll be reet. Be a prick and expect to get a stern talking to.

Some people will still be dicks but they’ll throw the book at the first couple to persuade everyone else to fall in line.
