I'd heard the term "metal spraying", but also had no idea. That's CAF. 8-)

edit: also an interesting channel. FeC/Ti damascus axe 8-) . Sold for £5800.

I love watching someone with that much enthusiasm for crafting skills. The titanium Damascus was fascinating as he ran into some crazy metallurgy finding steel and titanium form an nasty compound (not an alloy though) with much lower melting temperature under certain circumstances. Molten devils piss spewing out of a hydraulic hammer was something to see.

His tour of a very expensive shotgun manufacturer I think has been posted here before too.
