Some interesting stuff in that barn!
928 looks great - your photos are far better than the earlier ones!

Is your mate called Russell by any chance?

Nice motor. A classic case of seeming almost compact now, whereas originally I thought they were huge. BTW if that's you in the top photo you are much younger than I imagined.

Why yes he is! Do you know him? We've been mates and business partners for 20 years.

(If he does then you have missed a long-gone opportunity for a p-ride in Jonathan’s old Countach that he should not have sold. I belm you good).

Looking lovely Andy.
In other news. Fabia. After all of 766 miles since this time last year.

I think I’m turning into a prepper
I have a tool kit, some parts, a first aid kit, small wash kit, wd40, contact cleaner, Gerber multitool, woolly hat and gloves, axe, tyre inflator, oil, brake fluid, hose repair kit, beef jerky, flashlights, fuses, bungees and ratchet straps, fuel filter, 2 Jerry cans and an old jacket. I’m not a wally though so don’t throw this all on my roof rack along with an orange beacon.
Obviously this is essential when travelling on the a and B roads of this hostile war infested land !!
The ML has a first aid kit, litre of engine oil, concentrated screenwash, litre of water, snacks, spare set of clothes for me and the kids.
Audi has a first aid kit only.
What stuff do you carry in your for eventualities ?
Dave!

I love a white car and the 928 has always appealed since Chase HQ (yes I know that one was black)

I haven't met him, but we spoke and emailed a couple of times a year or so ago. I had decided my next car should be a 1960s American gas guzzler, and you don't have to do much googling or read many magazines on that topic before coming across Russell. He gave me some very sound advice, but my search still continues partly because I can't decide whether I want a Cadillac DeVille or a Buick Riviera (or Lincoln Continental, or Mercury Cyclone, or something else..). The Cadillac hearse in the back of your photo was a bit of a give-away - not many of those around!
Enjoy the 928 -it looks great.
Jonathan
PS Mik, you are right and I should never have sold the Countach, but at least it went to a good home and you can still stalk it online.

Wheels need swapping out for OEM Porsche items post haste (offsets are hilariously wrong on those and the style is like a weird blend of Porsche Cup wheels and Rays) but otherwise very cool.
I'd probably swap the wing back to the rubberised black version it would have come with but would keep the cup mirrors and the rubbing strips delete as the 928 CS had both of those:

I’m keen to see it on the other wheels you got Delphi.
I think the ones above are 16” Cup wheels. Not oem for the 928 of course.

Bad replica ones maybe... Caveated slightly by the fact there is no full side on pic (and that I seem to always be wrong on these things

), the aperture between the spokes on those cup 1s you posted looks much more rounded than the ones on Delphi's car.
