Did you check out the last clip from the Goodwood revival in circa '98? The crowd were told that there was going to be a fly past down the main straight but weren't told that it was going to be full throttle that low!

* That risk assessment and flight plan must have been very carefully worded.
* Not directly linked, or perhaps comparable, but what happened at Shoreham makes me feel uneasy about that laughing emoji

I discovered today that there is a miners’ strike going on in Wakefield, which has been going on since August. It’s about pay at a mining museum. Not sure if they’ll hold out as long as Arthur Scargill.
What’s AI about the control system for those drones?

Wonder if they just fed it a picture and it figured out the positions itself

A fiver says that the company who arranged this is heavily invested in AI tech, has made zero money out of it - like most of the AI space - and is desperate to try to make out they got some value out of it.
Also it's been pushed by an AI channel on insta, and they desperately need someone else to be holding the bag when the bubble bursts, hence promoting AI as the solution to everything to encourage gullible VCs and CTOs to throw money at the tech.
