It's a nope from me. Was never a fan of the looks anyway, but the colour scheme doesn't do anything to enhance it
The GT2 on the otherhand is flippin' lovely.

I think if I was going to get a 205 I'd see if I could find one with a solid shell and an Mi16 swap now that nice original ones are getting into serious money.

I'm tempted to find a 205 to put the Activa's engine into, and then put a V6 in the Activa, both very straightforward swaps.
Always fancied a 205, great ride/handling balance, and they look great on those 1.9 GTI wheels.

Sounds like a plan - although my preference would be xplant into a 309. Always had more of a soft spot for those.
