Had a glance at prices. They’ve been on the rise since I last looked..

I saw an 812 near Cirencester yesterday, not too far from Harry’s neck of the woods.

Surprised there doesn't seem to be much love for the F12 on here, by far my favourite of the type. I'm not fussed about the TdF even, I like the standard spec.

F12 > 812 > 599

Don't like the black wheels on that even though my R26 and Exige both had black wheels and I liked them on those.

The F12 is probably my favourite too, the only black mark is the “crotchless pants” rear.

Can I assume everyone's favourite of the type is the 599 GTO? 😬

I like the GTO, but I'd still choose the F12 personally.

F12 is awkward looking - both the FF style gurning grill and the badly resolved slab like rear. 812 all day for me.

F12 v 599 would be difficult. Don’t know why but the 599 is a bit like a ‘bangle’ era car to me (after the 550) trying to be too edgy. Still - it’s half the price of the F12 so would be tempting, especially when you imagine the depreciation of the newer car.

599 Aperta for me. Love the idea of a GTO without a roof.

550 my default trans-Europe GT of choice.

I love this F12 in green though

If we're doing special editions then 575 Superamerica would do me.

I've not really liked any front-engined modern era Ferrari with the exception of the 456; even the 550 and 575 didn't really grab me. Of the rest, the 812 is definitely better looking currently, though it remains to be seen how the badly the detailing dates; from the 80s strakes on the Mondial, Testarossa and 348 onwards, Ferrari detailing has always been very of its time.

I think that modern Ferraris are all about the details tbh. They can sometime look a bit challenging all together but there’s always something I really like on them.

The way you can follow how they control the air over the bonnet and through the wing on the F12 is one of my favourite detail pieces on any car.

512, 550, 612, the FF I liked but never really felt the urge to ponder having one should my numbers come up.

I think my love for the 550 is solely down to Harry’s fast fleet one and how it did the miles.

Modern ones are chintzy.

Dave!

I watch this one last night (just the Lambo bit). Interesting and cool to see a bit of thinking applied before diving in. 8-)

That Ford GT has only done 43 miles? What a waste.

Agreed.

Was it just me or was the colour saturation wound right up in the video?

XJ220s are gorgeous is a shame about the truck dimensions.

The little silver Dino in the background near the end was 8-)

Based on the fact the Mr M has just driven past his and our local in a DBX, silver, LHD, I’d say a DBX review is incoming. Looking forward to that one. Sounded bloody gorgeous and looks just as good.
