Funny - the GoogleMaps "StreetView" car for the Seychelles is some tatty mucky SUV with a camera slapped on the roof - held in place with a bit of rope.

In places where there’s no official Google operation they just defer to third parties. It even advertises it on your link. See it a lot if you google street view third world countries it’s always a random car with a camera stuck on it.
