Interior and exterior was £150. I’ll put some photos up of the stereo screen for example to show the difference there.
That's very cheap compared to what I've found round here (London). Unless you're somewhere in the far north of Scotland I suspect I could drive there, stay a day or two and still save money.
Because car enthusiasts in London believe in all that Richard Tipper nonsense and believe machine polishing a car needs to cost at least £1500+

It's not just London.

Mito Man wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2020 10:31 am In Kent on the local Facebook group there’s 3 detailers charging £45-50 just for an exterior wash and that’s on a small Polo sized car. Add £15 for each size up and £15 more for interior - feck that.

There’s a company which do a lot of the cars under my flat, from £150 for a wash but it’s a 2 bucket wash
I have a local mobile guy, first time I used him it was £50 for exterior (wash and wax) and interior. I had just come back from a week in Scotland and few days in Exmoor so the car was filthy. Since then he’s changed me £30 each time. Quick and better job than me doing it myself.

Hmm I’d consider it for £30, actually no as 30 x 3 cars = £too much 😂

”Dad, can I have £90?”
“Yes, here’s £500, spend the rest on something frivolous.”

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres are a step up from Asymetric 3s.

Lots of smeary grippy grip, quieter definitely but they don’t have the same feel in the wet. They are a little numb.

When the tears need changing it’ll be for these.

Dave!

Yes Mik - I think they will need replacing with 4s' eventually. Mot next month hence the Q.

Not much tread on em other than the large grooves but the wear markers are a bit to go yet.

Yeah - the MOT tester that our Lotus Indie uses failed the Evora for both front tyres Due to outer edge wear. He passed it once the indie showed him pics of a new one. It passed the MOT with the same ones on the next year. They are due changed now....

Good to hear - these are getting on a bit according to the date stamp. They work great in this weather tho but are shit in the wet.

I still have nightmares about the cost or replacing 2 Supersports on the back of the VXR8. Even worse when after 200 miles a shard of metal ripped through one of them :(

After having 19s on the M3 and 320d I just have it in my head that tyres cost £250 a corner. Anything less is a bargain!
