Just saw the Sky video filmed in a hospital in Bergamo. Depressed now, off to watch some donkey porn to cheer me up.
They’re the ones with pre-existing conditionsNotoriousREV wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 9:10 am Why is it that the people on my Facebook that were ranting 3 weeks ago that “it’s not even as bad as flu!”, “stop blowing it out of proportion” etc are now the ones sharing the most “stay at home” “flatten the curve” memes? Can I have them shot in front of their families?
I’m currently resisting the temptation to Share his “Italy is overreacting” post from the 2nd March with him...Mito Man wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 9:41 amThey’re the ones with pre-existing conditionsNotoriousREV wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 9:10 am Why is it that the people on my Facebook that were ranting 3 weeks ago that “it’s not even as bad as flu!”, “stop blowing it out of proportion” etc are now the ones sharing the most “stay at home” “flatten the curve” memes? Just revisiting this post. There are currently approximately 100,000 closed cases right now according to Johns Hopkins University. Doing the same maths as above we can see that the death rate is now 11.4%, roughly double what is was when my post above was written.Simon wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2020 10:55 am Back to Covid-19, this is all being mis-reported isn't it?
People keep comparing the number of deaths against the number of cases, but a case isn't closed until someone either dies or recovers. Looking at here at the time of writing there are 3,841 deaths and 62,109 recovered. Those are the only 2 numbers I'm concerned about. You either die or recover. I'm not concerning myself with the total case count, which is going up rapidly.
So, 100*(3841/(3841+62109))=5.82%. So based on that, this is bad.
And generally speaking, the older you are the more you are likely to die. I wonder if this could be a lot worse that the media are imagining. Could we see a noticeable effect on the number of OAPs across the world?
And this BS is why I stopped following the pedo cunt.Mito Man wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 10:26 am I see Elon Musk had another on of his stupid twitter moments. Says it’s nothing to worry about, will all be over by the end of April, everyone is over-reacting.
Also Space X will send 1000 ventilators to hospitals next week apparently![]()
Ah yes, I remember the good times under the last labour government when the land was full of a million spare critical care beds, each and every one of them with its own ventilator and cheery member of staff just sat around enjoying life and waiting for the time when there might be serious pandemic.Gavin wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 10:03 am Praising the Government is akin to thanking someone who broke your legs for ten years for handing you a crutch. Yes, finally they seem to being doing some decent things, but those decent things are more or less what they and their lackeys in the press have been saying would ruin us and bring the country to it's knees.
Posts on FB "Oh look, poor Johnson is tired and he has a baby on the way" Nope he is a prick, he has always been a prick and I am quite sure he will continue to be so. he has royally fucked us so if he suddenly produces lube I am not going to turn round and thank him.
Oh good. This BS againGavin wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 10:03 am Praising the Government is akin to thanking someone who broke your legs for ten years for handing you a crutch. So much damage done to al the societal safety nets, not least the NHS.
