Short EOTR - it was awesome; yes if you get a chance to drive/own one you absolutely should; it was easily the 2nd best car I've ever owned (after the Alfa, obvs). 285bhp was plenty for the road despite my concerns....and that ride quality is just witchcraft. No idea how you can make a car handle and ride like that while still be mega comfy on motorways yet hussle a bumpy B-road with aplomb.
Averaged 30mpg, TCO (2 services, few other bits) inc. depreciation over 19 months was about £4500, would have been less had CV not scuppered things.
One footnote: that transmission noise and gearchange is a massive letdown (despite mine having the 2012 upgrade). I'd love to own another (Probably a 400) but it'd be the IPS, doubt I'd bother with the manual again.
