Re: Coronavirus
War must have been planned to arrive just as the uk was already planning on removing all legal covid restrictions.
Very thoughtful timing from mr putin

There's many things happening. Loads of wars. You are only focussed on the main crisis of the day.ZedLeg wrote: Sun Feb 27, 2022 1:44 pm Glad to hear that brexit never happened and there isn’t any wars happening![]()
Have the boats stopped crossing the channel. Are there no people fleeing Syria? What's going on in Iraq? Lebanon? Israel?
You get the drift.

Lovely bit of whataboutism there Broccers. All it took was a war in Europe to get you to give a shit about brown people who’ve been getting bombed for decades

It's amazing to me that the Scots are so switched on about world issues but can't see their own at home problems.

Keep making assumptions about what other people think. It makes you look very smart.

I really am interested why noone kicks off in Scotland. You are run by a person who doesnt follow any science and is drunk on the small amount of power they have. Imagine if it really was independent.ZedLeg wrote: Mon Feb 28, 2022 4:16 am Keep making assumptions about what other people think. It makes you look very smart.

Re: Coronavirus
Who else are people going to vote for? The Westminster parties don't give a shit and as much as I would like to defend them the Scottish Greens are a bit birkenstock middle class for a lot of people.
Also, you just described Boris

As this is the Covid thread at least give him a small amount of credit for ending the england suffering sooner than the rest of the UK. Reading earlier kids in scotland still masked up until later this week where they can take them off...... only to put them on again when they move around.
I was reminded of the tier system here - you could go to the pub and have a meal but no more than 3 pints. A meal was a scotch egg but not breakfast in wetherspoons. One day in the future someone will point out how done over we've been with this farce.

Does anyone actually care about masks beyond a culture war talking point?
It's like the tiniest thing for a bunch of middle aged people to lose their minds over.

Re: Coronavirus
Its a sign that individuals are still scared about a situation that currently isn't that worrying. They won't get over it soon. There's no help for them either, they just function without being able to communicate properly. Seeing a smile, a grin is what lifes all about - an expressionless mask face takes that away. This is why I am anti mask. If you are very ill then fine, if you are driving in your car on your own wearing a mask then you have severe mental problems.ZedLeg wrote: Mon Feb 28, 2022 9:23 am Does anyone actually care about masks beyond a culture war talking point?

Re: Coronavirus
You'll have to explain what this means as I've no idea?
Re: Coronavirus
On the off chance that you're genuinely asking it's those times when people pick a subject to fight over based on political belief more than anything else.
Civil rights, women's bodily autonomy and vaccination are all examples of subjects where this happens.

Very much regional I think - Here in Milton Keynes, I'd say the numbers wearing them out and about in shops is between 25% and 50%. Most Aren't. I was down near Basingstoke on Saturday morning and went into a Sainsbury's and, bar one couple, EVERYONE was still masked upZedLeg wrote: Mon Feb 28, 2022 9:23 am Does anyone actually care about masks beyond a culture war talking point?

I still wear mines but I was out on Saturday night and hardly anyone was, I was briefly in a Spoons and it was shoulder to shoulder with nobody wearing them. A petri dish at the best of times

Broccers - note that zed answered your question, rather than just angrily spouting "do your own research".
