Don't read the replies first as they give it away.

@duncs500 watching this wondering what all the fuss is about. And he doesn't even need a seperate tool fit it either!

Jesus, that framerate. Was this taken by someone holding down a button on an old Kodak disposable?

No, that's apparently just the standard of footage that's acceptable in private first responder ambulances.

Why spend that extra £20 on a better camera when that could go to shareholder value?

 TBH, that looks more of a faff than an Elise roof! Would not put me off one bit though, very rare that I put the lid on the Elise, and if I do it has (so far) never been in a rush by the side of the road.

This video is the in-car footage of that insane lap, from start to finish.
I declare this to be - rapid. 8-)

(I am not sure why this is in Randomness as opposed to YTVids though :geek: )

I think I’d prefer the normal Ionic 5 and a decent sim rig over this

I hate that crap, but based on that vid and the way the camera moves as it pretend-shifts from pretend-first into pretend-second, it looks like Hoonday have gone one step further and added a pause in the power delivery???? In which case, my Tragicometer may well explode. :(

Jeezus, that is exactly what they have done. And worse.

Now I need to buy a new Tragicometer, with a higher rating. :(

Apparently it's actually quite well implemented, reported by people who have driven them.
