I think we’re going to get a good idea of where the pace of the cars stand over the next 2-3 races as we’ll have a good cross section of circuits then. I just hope Bottas can keep up his good form and Redbull don’t get left behind again, it’s nice to see them with a Honda engine drive past a Ferrari.

Major upgrades due in Spain for everyone, so that might change things.

Well, if casual fans are mentioning a double pitstop you can surmise how exciting the race was....

I hope LeClerc goes through Ferrari like a ton of bricks. There was far too much of this crap last season for Kimi and Bottas having their races humped to help the "No 1".

Hopefully Ferrari fix their power unit issue before Spain otherwise Mercedes will have an unreachable lead and the season will be quite boring. Supposedly Ferrari can’t reliably run at higher power modes for a whole race distance hence being so far off the pace :?

Maybe they should use an Audi R8 V10 manual?

Apparently there’s a fundamental problem with the cooling system so can’t run high power at all for fear of damaging the units. Stupid 3 power unit rule

Eh? They were a little faster on the straights than Merc. It’s the corners they we’re suffering with during the race.

FP1 was fun!

Leclerc driving over a drain cover loosened it and it destroyed the underside of Russell's car as he ran over it.

The recovery lorry's crane then hit a bridge and leaked hydraulic fluid everywhere. Track now needs a full inspection, so FP2 may not happen.

Weird - I would've expected much higher standards of professionalism from a backward former soviet bloc country

Same thing happened in Monaco minus the truck going into the bridge. This incident couldn’t have happened to a more deserving team either, what with Claire and others going on the whole time that their only chance of points would be at Baku/Monaco if all the cars around them crash.

I need a decent stream recommending so I can watch live on my iPad.

It’s a weird thing, Williams just won’t change the leadership but they’ll happily sit there and blame bad luck for their set backs this weekend. If it were any other team they’d rebuild the car, go on a rescue mission and try to fix their poor performance long term (just look at the big changes McLaren have made). Williams, ‘oh, we’ve had some bad luck and our car is shit anyway so might as well just write this race off and go home. Hopefully everyone else on the grid will crash next time out and we might get lucky and win a point’.

The streams seem to have mostly been closed down, I searched for ages and only found https://cricfree.sc/f1-live-streaming that still works.

I wouldn’t bother. Dull. F4 from Donington was a much better race.

I was surprised that there wasn’t much fuel saving apparent, thought they would really under fuel the cars with so many previous safety cars. Shame about the race though as qualifying was great.

I can only imagine the leadership at Williams is about as cohesive as Parliament during a Brexit debate - everyone was worried if they would have enough parts to repair the car for the race - like seriously, what difference would it fucking make when you’re fighting for last 1-2 laps behind the next car in front...

But why would sponsor's want to be associated with a team that's failing so badly? Do sponsor deals last a full season or have they been known to pull out mid season?
