Yes and no I guess, depends how hard you push it.
Its got enough power to spin the wheels at will at 100mph in the wet though so its a bit of a handful.

The speed is GPS generated so should be cock on. The limiter is currently set to 9500 which would be about 163mph in 6th.mik wrote: Wed Nov 12, 2025 12:43 pm Looks funbut simultaneously frustrating

What is VMax? Around 153mph?
(I was quickly (roughly) calculating your gearing - assuming your telemetry is accurate - 13mph/krpm in 4th, 14.8mph/krpm in 5th, 17mph/krpm in 6th : that's pretty sprinty ratios)
Probably yes, his schedule is ridiculous so finding the time isn't easy.Jobbo wrote: Wed Nov 12, 2025 12:57 pm God, I look forward to seeing it on a dry track. Is the Chris Harris review going to wait for spring now?
Yeah, that'll do. Looks like it will scamper up to that pretty quickly.dan wrote: Wed Nov 12, 2025 1:06 pm

I saw it on Dan's IG feed when he corrected Harris - he could have used a better term, but I don't think he meant it to be mean given the context he was discussing it. Seems he's using "kit cars" in a very broad sense, not "built using some scaffolding at home"Jobbo wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 3:58 pm Listening to this week’s Chris Harris and Friends podcast, he clearly referred to Dan’s car as a kit car (not mentioning Dan by name) before being more complimentary. Thought that was rather mean!
Did they actually mention the blog or just discuss the article?MikeHunt wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 12:25 pm They did mention the Elise while talking about the Ulitma, which is a bit unfair on the Ulitma based on what ive seen of Dans car.
I think they also mentioned @SSO aston blogs?
Much appreciated. I will go have a look/listen.MikeHunt wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 1:04 pm It was somewhere here
