Too low? They don't come from the factory like that Dave

Too big? Your ML is slightly wider than a 2023 A6 Allroad which has slightly extended arches over a regular A6; the current RS6 isn't on here but it's a couple of inches wider than the standard A6:

So you don't like them, fine, but your basis for criticism simply isn't justified.

Holley wrote: Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:36 am I watched the Autotrader review where they had a E28 M5 at the beginning. Would much rather have that, looked ace 8-)
Every Friday 25th I am allocated as Holley's link bitch. Hence:

Around 10min45 Rory goes on about how - in Sport-Plus gearbox mode, the whole car shakes on every upshift. Is this something positive/desired? :? :?:
Sorry Mik!

I don't think a car shaking is good in any situation. Is there any hybrid that's on sale currently where it's preferable to ICE or even Electric only?

The one local isn’t modified.

My view is justified as I’ve been in one.

My ML is already pretty annoying in many car parks.

If you think a car as big as an E65 7 series is not too big then fine, but for a sports saloon, in my opinion, it definitely is.

Dave!

New M5 is very on point for 2024. Confused. Unsure if it's a sports car or a luxury saloon. Overweight. Got a big V8 one end and trying to save the planet with a big battery on the other but just ending up with a bigger mess. Not bad, but not as good as it's predecessor.
Reflects the current world.

If it's too low to go over speed humps, it is.

A local “legitimate businessman” has an F90 M5. It looks great but it’s also the size of a building.

Joe Achilles video is more positive and the way it runs into the 312kmh limiter is nuts! Most important point is when he teases a few seconds of the Touring M5, which he releasing a video on tomorrow (?).. that looks much better in a very dark colour

By coincidence a 520i parked near to me, it doesn’t really show up in the photo but the G60 does look a lot bigger and bulkier and more modern but it’s nowhere near the top three 5’s imho.

Rory's review seems to be the very definition of "meh".... they've not made it better, they've not made it worse.
