I’m in Antigua for 4 days.. pretty girls here/there, and one that has lived on a double wide house boat for 6 years may just be crazy enough for me to be interested!

What's the significance of "double wide"? Is that just boat speak for "big".

I think there's a standard width for house boats, "double" means it's twice that width.

A bit like "double garage".
