Crooked House
Re: Crooked House
Not exactly 'suspiciously flammable' - two kids arrested for arson and bailed.
Re: Crooked House
I don't think the Raven was destroyed by the owners. They seem fairly inept; it's been derelict for nearly 2 decades and they even let it get so bad the local authority went in and made it safe this year. I suspect they won't mind it having been set on fire, but I don't think they gave some sweets and a lighter to a couple of teenagers.
The fire is tragic but it might actually cause the building finally to come back into some sort of use; the main old centre bit being retained and restored and the rest demolished and flats built or something.

Re: Crooked House
The headline changed from earlier, I saw that it was started deliberately, 2 young kids is a strange twist.
Re: Crooked House
Not that strange, more and more arson is being committed by young kids- there was one in Hartlepool in April where they arrested 6 young lads

There was a derelict farmhouse near us that had numerous planning permission applications turned down despite getting set on fire every couple of months, and strangely only happened in the school holidays
There seems to be a problem with children from a certain scrotey class of society that have zero understanding of consequences for actions- the ones who get told to be good in the shops or you won’t get your sweets, only to be little fuckers and get the sweets still, and never get told no and just be left to run feral on the streets
See also kids stabbing kids. I genuinely believe the only consequence they understand is that when you die in fortnight you respawn somewhere and that’s why they don’t have the understanding that stabbing someone means they die
