Another one done. Serioushly (pub, meds, fella) how can anyone not think the correct interest rate is less than 5 percent.
Its unfortunate that your so obtuse that you read and dont reply. Fuck off.Rich B wrote: Wed Dec 07, 2022 1:15 pm I'm almost tempted to DM Broccers like he asked to find out what this breakdown is actually all about, but that'll spoil the magic!

Of course. A sitting tenant will get it passed down. I feel for people in these hard times.Carlos wrote: Wed Dec 07, 2022 1:33 pm Rate rises will still affect Zed though and ultimately will reduce his spending to lower inflation ! Although house prices have risen, locally rent has probably only increased by 10% between 2010 and 2020 but risen the same amount in the last 2 years and probably the same again in the next 2 years just to keep a similar £ profit.
Low interest rates and inflation has helped us live better the last decade and the middle 50% of society is well equipped to tighten its belt and wait for a bit of wage inflation to counter rate rises.
Those with nothing aren't bothered by interest rates but sadly energy and food can't be cut back on !
What and absolutely nothing to do with a global downturn in spending caused by the QE bubble bursting due partly to Covid and partly the Ukraine conflict?ZedLeg wrote: Wed Dec 07, 2022 9:45 am Nope, our sales in general went up over lockdown. It was customs legislation and uncertainty about deliveries that killed our international volume.
Enjoying your latest spiral though mate.

You realise those figures through lockdown were being held artificially high by yet more QE, furlough and grants right? People were generally better off as they were paid to stay home, given free money or didn't have the commuting expenses due to work from home so they spent it on goods which funnily enough translates into increase sales volumes across the board.
The QE bubble was always going to burst, you can't just print more money into the system and expect it to retain the same value and as the EUCB, BofE and the US Treasury have all been doing this since 2007/8. Inflation is rife everywhere QE has taken place not just the UK.
