That's bizarre. Why would any climate change protest group (or artist tbh) get involved with NFTs
Do NFTs have much of an environmental impact? Crypto mining, yes, not sure about blockchain itself.
I’m not going to pretend to fully understand it but there are two ways of validating nfts on the blockchain. Proof of work which is very energy intensive and proof of state which is much less so. Most NFTs use proof of work although there is a push to the latter to make so called “green NFTs”.
Any amount of energy used on them is wasted though imo

"Compared his actions to Martin Luther King"
What a weapon. There's a big difference between challenging civil injustices and simply damaging beloved art.

Aye, dude sounds like a cunt.
This is why I was always against the art gallery protests, now the story is two kids damaging a painting instead of what they were protesting. Which was always going to happen.

Two kids whose actions are encouraged by adults who should know better and who are now virtually unemployable because they have a criminal record and a history of not giving a fuck if they damage something worth millions

Yeah those German protests weren’t really thought through. Chemical burns and necrosis all round.

I'm not sure what that means for their future. Have they still got skin in the game?

Sounds like the kind of silly response only a parody account would post...

That’s an £800.85 ticket wasted….
