A trail race where they get snow would be more fitting for you, and they probably don't exist. 6633 looks more like experiencing the life of a Victorian explorer with a safety net;

When you put it like that it does sound right up my street.
@240PP - I remember 14 years ago someone bought me a book when they heard I was doing the MDS and that had the Barkley detailed and it was incredible reading about it. I love the attitude the organiser has and it just sounds like an incredible experience. That documentary was really good - there's a couple of good vids on YouTube about it too.Sounds utterly demoralising and a proper adventure.
