I've had documents rejected because my street has an apostrophe in it, which is a relatively minor inconvenience and one I can remove without being noticed. That's nothing compared to actual ID documents with your name, where an inconsistency could cause massive issues.

Got to wonder - are the 2 stars part of the names or are they the favourites?
i don’t think Lily’Mae will be too worried about official documents in her future, she’d be lucky if she ever rode a plane, rode a plane…

Ah, that makes some sense of places renamed -', but it still doesn't make sense that systems can't cope with such things.
