Real answer is that it’s his MOD civilian grade, B2 being approximately equal to Colonel in responsibility. But with less chance of getting shot.

One of the comments there said how having an apostrophe in your name is a PITA that must be so true. I've had documents rejected because my street has an apostrophe in it, which is a relatively minor inconvenience and one I can remove without being noticed.
