I hope that's not it! If someone is going to tie a symbolic noose, they're going to make it big enough to fit over a head / around a neck, or it's not very scary. That looks like a hand sized loop to me.
I’ve had a noose made for me by an angry group of villagers and I can confirm it’s genuinely scary
That one s about as intimidating and scary as a puppy with a flower.

According to Bubba, one of his guys saw that only his garage out of all the garages had a noose style knot. So he reported it. I get that, and can understand why it was reported in today's climate, in Alabama...

Not everyone in the world is a racist.
Not every act is racist.
I was being called a white devil by an angry Cabindan village though.
If you look hard enough you can find racism anywhere, it’s making a mockery of any genuine racists who should be educated or removed from the gene pool on all sides.

I can understand their fear though Dave if they've not come across many westerners before

I get that too. But it's all a matter of perspective.

While it’s obviously good that this doesn’t seem to be a racist statement. The problem you have now is that the reporting on it is being used by the usual right wing suspects to diminish any claims of racism and the blm movement as a whole.
It’s ok to accept that systemic racism exists and should be countered while also accepting that this doesn’t seem to be connected to it.

and playing devil’s advocate, it’s also ok to accept that some people will actively try to find racism even when it doesn’t exist. So it’s hardly surprising that the extremists will take the opportunity to gloat and score points.
Either way, it’s a pretty sorry state of affairs and doesn’t help anyone.

Agreed.
I'm sure Bubba Wallace experiences regular racism in NASCAR, so you can't really blame the guy for being a bit paranoid. He was probably half expecting a backlash after the banning of the Confederate flag.

Playing devil’s advocate is just a way of trying to fool people into thinking you’re not a contrarian

Its not really fooling anyone if you state that’s what you’re doing!
imo There’s not much point in just discussing one side of an issue without at least considering the opposing view. That‘s how you end up with bizarre concepts like racism!

Catching up on this one - is this the noose?
It doesn't look like the pic that Nascar released, so I'd say no.
Nascar asked officials at every track to check their garages this week. Nascar said out of 1,684 garage stalls at 29 tracks, only 11 had a garage door pull-down rope tied in a knot. The only one fashioned in a noose was the one discovered Sunday by a crew member in Wallace’s No. 43 garage stall.

If that’s the one then it definitely is a noose type of knot.

It’s pretty convenient that firing her lets Starmer distance the shadow cabinet from some of the policy that was scaring the centre
All about those nasty left wingers though

While I don't fully understand the Labour party, isn't she part of the part they should get rid of ie momentum. Happy to be educated on that !

It depends on whether you expect labour to be a left wing socialist party or just another bunch of centre neo libs I guess.
