I watched from 20:15 to 20:45. Taycan lap was good. Had zero interest in the road trip so turned it off.

Was just thinking what a coincidence it was that I just learned about grilled guinea pigs on here recently and then it was featured on Top Gear!

So its moving to BBC1 too - seems like the new series is doing really well so its time for the inevitable move to the other channel.

What!? No no no, TG is 2, not 1. Do not like.

Yeah I enjoyed this weeks too - Interesting that the Stig lap was included. I'm guessing Porsche insisted.

when the wheels came off paddy's car, I haven't laughed that much in ages.

And it actually looked accidental!

The lack of external footage makes me agree with you.

How bizarre.

Back in the day when we had less than a handful of channels and you had to get up off your arse to press the button to change from one to another - this might have been a factor in viewing numbers (assuming some people left their TV on some default “favourite” channel if they were idly watching), but in this day and age - does this proposal matter in any way, shape, or form whatsoever? :?

I guess the concern is that it will be dumbed down Even further?

It’s actually annoying because I know on Sky that BBC 2 HD is channel 102 but for some unknown reason BBC 1 on channel 101 is not HD and the HD channel is some crap like 143. WHY.

Because the BBC still can’t broadcast the regional stuff in HD, unlike ITV1. Ridiculous.

I’m a massive fan of BBC2, and BBC1 just doesn’t cut it for me. So I for one will no longer watch this.

i think they realised it was about to go so set up the “safe” scenario to properly kill it. It was quite funny though!

As soon as I realised they were showing the lap, I said the kids “this must be good if they’re showing it”. Same lap time as the Veyron is very impressive.
