That's all well and good, but I'm not going to agree with it, and will continue to argue until you find me *specific* data on unvaccinated dwarf lepers, by sexual orientation, presented as a spider graph, with text in comic sans.
you really are a penis sometimes!
I'm not going to let you off such a humdinger of a stats salad after the whole "the Tories are definitely honest as the day is long unless you have a signed confession to the contrary" incident
I just wanted figures that included the relevant variant. I have no interest in defending a gov that I didn't vote for.

We’ve had our first Christmas Casualty today. Father in Law has decided not to travel. There’s been a few cases in his Sheltered Accommodation and despite negative tests, he doesn't want to risk his grandkids. Shame really. I was looking forward to him comming. All his kids and grandkids together for the first time
14 became 13, now becomes 9. BIL and nephew tested positive. At this stage, it going to 3 of us and an obnoxious amount of food…

Who isn't taking the 4th jab?
See Israel.
I won't be as this is ridiculous already.
On a plus note Nic is all clear. I'm not having a test for nothing unless I'm seriously unwell.

What is your reason for not wanting another jab? Don't tell me to do my own research, I'm asking your opinion.

I'll take as many as the scientists deem necessary. It's them that are advising the Government what to do, not the other way round despite what some crackpots think.

Because I'm not fooled by this and haven't been for quite a while.

Funny, I had a call and a text today from my hospital saying I should have a 4th jab 3 months after the third jab…
So 4 jabs a year. Nice…

Fooled? By what?

Broccers thinks they should be yearly boosters. Because flu is a yearly jab.

I think I might start taking my gout tablets once a year rather than every day. I've clearly been fooled for the last decade into thinking I need them every day but I'm sure I don't because flu jabs.

Good point - I was given some antibiotics a few years back - the doc said to take them every day for 2 weeks. I've only taken 2 so far, I stick to one a year. Like the flu jab. #imnotfooled

Had my booster on Monday. Felt tired and wiped out yesterday. Arm is still a bit sore, but other than that I'm fine now.

The problem with that is, apparently they're told what to model by the Gov't, and that is the absolute worst case scenario.
I'll probably have my 3rd jab, when I can, but beyond that I'm not sure. It all depends on how severe it is. As it stands I'm still in the camp of thinking this is heading towards just being another cold-like virus. So what's the point of being jabbed over and over if that's how it pans out?
Mito - Are you CEV? 3rd primary jabs were given to the CEV. And then you'll still get a booster after that.

Official Gov't advice is that you shouldn't do any tests (PCR or LFT) for 90 days after a +ve PCR.
Why, do they give you COVID?
HJey, don't shoot the messenger! I have to say, I hadn't heard of the 90 day thing, and only found out as I wanted to check whether you should test at the end of isolation. After reading the Gov page I still wasn't convinced what I was reading was right - just goes to show how little trust we have in them getting a clear and consistent message across.
And now it's changed anyway, as apparently you can reduce your isolation period by 3 days, but only if you do a -ve LFT at day 7. So completely going against the above guidance. And I wasn't even testing +ve on the LFT anyway when I got my +ve PCR through!
Shambolic

I wasn't at all criticising you - just didn't understand the logic in the advice. I guess that's why it changes so often, like blowing in the wind.

I’m off to Bangladesh via Norway on the 27th, trying to make sure I’m legal and correct is going to be a whole lot of interpretation happening.

You'd think they'd at least explain their rationale wouldn't you? Well, maybe not
