The Bluetooth was never on when I had it. No venue I've been in has had issues but one pub lost half it's staff due to the app.

Writing on a bit of paper is less of a problem when your writing is poor

Never downloaded the contact tracing app. Don't trust the cunch of bunts the gov backhanded to develop it

I've had to use it to get into any coffee shops or restaurant. Oddly didn't see it at all at Goodwood and no facemasks required there even in the indoor bits. I must have walked past tens of thousands of people so wondering if I'll get a bunch of alerts later next week.

As per earlier, you need to be close to someone infected for a period of time (15mins maybe?). Walking past someone with covid won't trigger it.

I was stopped next to various big crowds of people for over 15 mins on maybe 20 different occasions.

Well I was just responding to you saying you walked past, but in any case, I'm guessing you weren't within 2 metres of the same person for more than 15mins too often. Possibly occasionally, but even then that's not the whole crowd that fit within a 2m radius of you, just the odd person... so I still think the chances of getting pinged are pretty low.

I don’t know how it works or if it even works. I’ve been using the London buses pretty frequently again since Spring which is probably the most at risk place - an hour each way in a pretty busy small metal box and I’ve got nothing.
I presume the app is working in the background but then again I’ve read about people getting pinged really quickly now so they’re looking to make it less sensitive

We've just been emailed by school regarding close contact and daughter having to isolate for 10 days. What a PITA! Have to cancel some meetings now to cover childcare and our weekend camping trip next week has gone for a Burton

Masks seen pretty normal around my neck of the woods, although there seem to be more people hanging thier nose or over the top lately.

I just assume they're self centred, ill educated spastics who shouldn't be allowed to breed. And then I come back to eugenics maybe not being a bad thing.

Then I buy my dinner and forget about it. Can't solve stupid.

Saw a group of “lads” in Wilkinson’s today in Stockton moaning about having to buy masks because the staff in Wetherspoons wouldn’t serve them without them. They were told by a battle axe of a staff member that it was the law and shouldn’t be in their shop without one anyway nice to see them get taken down a peg or two

I am much recovered, just a bit tired and a cough. Ended up having 3 days off work this week as my fever came back.
Now my eldest tested positive, so got another week of isolating.

Had my second Moderna jab on Friday. Then went into Birmingham to see clients for lunch and an old colleague for coffee.

Felt a bit under the weather yesterday; realised by the afternoon that it was a slightly raised temperature. Still went out for dinner and felt better for doing something rather than just sitting on the sofa.

This morning I’m feeling pretty much back to normal other than the slightly sore arm which I expected after having that following the first jab.

Seems Moderna is not as common in the U.K. so there’s less data but the Canadians found it to be 87% effective against the variants after only one jab, so I’m pleased I randomly got it. I wonder which vaccines will be given to people here for the boosters?

The suggestion is that th booster will be a different one from which you had first time, so AZ for Pfizer and vice versa etc.

Had my test at the Milton Keynes Test centre yesterday.

Very slick operation. Results back at 07:30 this morning. Negative for me and the Boy, NO RESULT YET for the missus…

It means you've wasted some resources

Probably as you are isolating anyway - a positive test doesnt mean f all.

A mate of mines dad was admitted to hospital the other day, tested positive, second test negative a few hours later.

So you’re saying nobody should bother testing at all???
