They’ve changed it so you can check availability before cancelling now. My second was booked for Aug but I’ve managed to bring it forward three weeks.
I've just tried to do this, but it just says that there's no other appts available at my 'chosen vaccination centre'. To check other centres I need to cancel and rebook. Sigh. I'm still 3 weeks away from my second (exactly 11 weeks to the hour between first and second appointments). Can't be arsed to risk cancelling that now.
Had the same thing when I tried it. Not worth changing when my second is 2 weeks away.
Thought I'd give 119 a ring to see if they could see availability elsewhere as I'm still 2 weeks out from my 2nd but don't want to risk losing my appt. to 'check' availability at other centres. The girl on the phone couldn't help at all. She said I'd have to cancel before they could check themselves, which leaves me to think that they just have access to the same website that the public do. Not great.
I've left it as it is.

Try again - you might get a better person this time.
My other half found availability (albeit at the same centre) , cancelled her original appointment and re-booked all over 119. Couldn't have been more helpful.

No walk in centres near you?

Walk in doesn't work when you're trying to plan the jab around your working day. Could be waiting for ages at a walk in.

The one near us does weekends and evenings as well.

Which completely ignores that I want to be ill on company time.

The problem is that there is no availability at the same centre, so all I can do is cancel in the hope that somewhere else has availability.

Well, this isn't fun
Wife = Rather poorly with it
Boy = Had a slight cough for 2 days and, touch wood, seems OK now a week after his school year bubble burst.
Me = Not sure if I've avoided it or will get it?
The little one was sent home last Wednesday as someone had a positive test on the Tuesday, he had a slight cough that night, but otherwise fine, my wife started with sore throat last Friday.
We've all had proper tests on Friday/Saturday, they were both positive, mine negative.
They're upstairs and I'm downstairs now. I feel like I've a bit of a sore throat, but lateral flow test still negative now, I've had 2 Pfizer jabs, wonder if it will stop me getting it?
My mum has symptoms and she has had 2 AZ jabs, my Dad seems OK so far and he's had 2 Pfizer.
Max Strength Flu capsules and water at the ready, its not good is it, I wish she'd managed to have both jabs, might have stopped it getting this bad?

Windsor has loads of Pfizer remaining, so there’s an open invite up to this weekend for anyone 18+ to come get jabbed.. the centre is right in the middle of town (where else would the centre be??

) , so I’ve walked past it a couple of times and they’re basically asking everyone who walks past to go in!
I flew in 37T of that stuff on Saturday, so keep jabbing people to keep me employed!!

I see the whole one day cricket team have been wiped out by cases now. As soon as you've been jabbed twice then you shouldnt have to isolate at all.
The whole mask / not mask argument in the media is the next thing to divide everyone - I'm sure there are more important things happening in the world.

Two of my colleagues have been knocked down by Covid having been double jabbed. One has been off for about 5 weeks now with ongoing lethargy.

Javid seems to be pushing full steam ahead with the ideological reopening.
What will we see first, someone attacked for wearing a mask in public or someone kicking off for not being allowed in somewhere without one?

The latter I'd say Zed...

The later opens up some legal issues under the disability and discrimination act... They can't exclude you now if you're 'exempt', then definitely won't be able to still after 19th.

Yeah, you know there are going to be people on either side that are going to be dicks about it though.
It looks like we're still going to have masks and that up here for a while. Not that I'm fussed, I've been wearing my mask and getting my jab like a good little sheeple
