How stupid (or horny) does Hancock need to be? I mean, you know you're under massive scrutiny and you carry on like that basically in public.
Got to go just on the basis of being too stupid to be in a proper job with responsibilities.

Anywhere I've worked it's 'against the rules' to shag a subordinate. Simple as that. And we've had training to this effect also. It can be construed as sexual harrasment.

“I accept that I breached the social distancing guidance in these circumstances. I have let people down and am very sorry. I remain focused on working to get the country out of this pandemic, and would be grateful for privacy for my family on this personal matter.”
Trump really has re-written the rule book on politicians resigning. A few years ago he'd have been gone this morning.

I know, but Trump is the pioneer. You really feel like since then it's dawned on them "Oh, so if I just say I'm not resigning and IDGAF, there's actually nothing anyone can do about it?".

In other news, half my daughter's school is now isolating because of confirmed or suspected cases of someone in their class. Got a text yesterday morning to say she needs to stay at home. Did a lateral flow test on her out of curiosity - came back positive. Did another. So did that one. Bugger. So we all popped off for PCR tests - hers came back positive, the rest of us negative. So that's us isolating until the end of next weekend. All feeling fine so far so let's hope it stays that way.

It does give you the opportunity to refurbish the shed as her new permanent bedroom. Complete with plague cross on the door. Just sayin'.

Irrespective of what the numpty has done, there's a bigger and far more interesting question, with potentially very significant ramifications, that needs answering: who has access to government building CCTV systems?
The least worst and probably most plausible option is that it was deliberately leaked from inside by someone who had been ordered to do so. Other options are significantly worse and could have far wider implications.

Did you forget about Bill Clinton getting sucked off by his intern, going through impeachment proceedings and giving a hollow apology but at no point resigning?
