I bet those seat frames won't just flat out kill you when you inevitably spear it off the road into a telegraph pole because it doesn't handle.

How big must it be? Espadas aren't exactly small, and it's got another foots worth of wheel sticking out each side!

I think it's awful, but from memory it was build from a pretty much unsaveable wreck. It wasn't that long ago that you could pick up a scruffy but running and complete one for under £20k

8.2 feet wide
Not only is it a POS but it’s an undriveable POS.

To be fair, that’s had a heck of a lot of work put into it.

The “250 California” lettering on top of the very-obviously-BMW engine probably wasn’t really needed though.

If you’re buying an Aston from that period, expensive bills are a certainty, maybe buying cheap and saving money up from is the way to go

Buy it cheap so when the engine cries enough you can stick an LS in it and not feel guilty about it

My link goes to a 30-year old Aston for which they want 80 grand. Where is the link to the cheap one you are discussing?

The part where he gives the name of a garage that sold one recently for nearly double what he's asking and another one for £40k more than he's asking.

Yeah those Astons are starting to appreciate now. Decent Vantages are silly money.

Were they ones that hadn’t been ruined with an aftermarket bodykit, by any chance?

A quick press on the virage link on that advert doesn’t seem to suggest its cheap - it shows there’s a massive variance in prices though.
