I got Pfizer yesterday. Painful to lift my arm above 45deg, but fine apart from that.

Got my Pfizer at 2.30 yesterday. Other than feeling like I’ve been punched really hard in the shoulder, enough to make sleep a bit broken / uncomfortable I’ve not noticed any other side effects.

Was up for work as usual.

Just back from giving the wife a lift to get her Pfizer. Sore arm almost straight away, otherwise fine so far.

My 1st is on Wednesday and I'm 33, no underlying issues etcs.

Can't wait, be happier once my wife is allowed one though being a teacher 😑

I received Pfizer on Wednesday.
Are you 38/39 as well? How did it work? Did they actually offer you an option or just have Pfizer ready?
Yes 39, didn't have a choice as such. Turned up in hope. Only 1 of 3 local centres had availability for booking so presume it was related to this.

I've got my 1st on Wednesday (33) and the wife's is the week after.

Didn't get a choice of vaccine on the booking, do you get it when you're there?

No, but either they're just automatically giving Pfizer to under 40s, or they've just got loads of the stuff. As everyone I've talked to lately has been getting it.

When I turned up I could see Pfizer in big letters on my sheet. If you want AZ, I don't know what you're supposed do though.

I'm 33 and got a lovely AZ straight in my arm without any questions about what I wanted. I wasn't concerned about getting the AZ though, just happy to have it done. Had it for my first one too.

You must have had your first one a while ago though?

It's changed now hasn't it, I'll get whatever is available but I presume I'll be given Pfizer due to my age.

Yeah it was middle of March. I thought there was talk of under 40s getting a non-AZ even if they'd one first. I didn't take much notice of that.

I’m having my second AZ dose later this week. A day or two after the first one I felt like I’d done 100 miles on the MTB, my legs were totally shot. Hopefully it won’t be too bad this time :o

Got a letter today for our 2nd, this coming Sunday, but we've finally found a place for the half-term so will be away from Saturday morning. Oh well.

I think most places are now on Pfizer as they’re down the age ranges, but don’t think they’re allowed to mix and match yet so if you had an az first one you’ll get the same again.

I didn’t get a choice, it was already there in the tray when I went in for the jab, and just got pointed to whichever of four stations were empty so assume everyone was getting the same.

I got the generic NHS text at the weekend so booked it, but closest I could get was in Southampton. Got a text from my GP this morning to book with them, so cancelled the first one and going to go locally and at a sooner date. I got 24 text messages and 24 emails from the NHS confirming it had been cancelled. Seemed excessive.

At 33 I'm guessing it might be Pfizer as standard now rather than the AZ one..? It didn't mention anything on either booking about which you get for me.
