Oh My.
Another superb video.
That Quattro looks like it’d be great fun in Scottish Highlands.
Wouldn't it just. Would love a crack up there with a sorted EVO TME or JDM Scoob too.
I’ve always loved the Sport Quatty - that was a fantastic vid.

Another great video from Harry. Have always had a soft spot for the Quattro and Lancias, I guess that comes with the territory if you're my sort of age and grew up with even a passing interest in cars.

A car with wheel travel, no silly sidewalls and enough power to be fun. You can’t fake how much fun he was having with it.
I wish the options list catered for something like this instead of hard riding cars with little compliance.
Think I’ll re-watch the 928 video again now.

Surgical gloves and expensive looking wristwatches....
Must be very satisfying to spin that crank by hand with it all bolted up.

I just read Harry described by someone on The Lotus Forum (in relation to an EV discussion) as a “farmer bloke doing a 'current real life' on road experience with (admittedly high end) EVs“.
Made me snigger, and highlighted that - of course - with evo circulation levels always being at “niche” levels - his background is not well known - even to some CGs.
Which lead me to google him and realise he has a
wiki page. I knew most of it, but had forgotten a couple of aspects, so thought I would share the link.

That’s because it’s not that house at all. It’s this one:

I’d say the 500e in that colour combination is the star of the show, a snip at 50k. A high mileage one may be worth as little as 45k, get them while you can

If a 300E is 60% of a 500E, that makes mine about £27k

Yes, seems like a decent compromise for most people as the battery has a decent range for smaller trips without ever having to worry about recharging mid journey. Obviously the longer the journey the closer to or worse than normal car fuel consumption you get.
Do things like that do regen braking or even just use an increased alternator load on deceleration to top up the battery in use, or is it only what it sucks from the wall?
