I had club silverstone tickets (becketts grandstand) one year and that was cool - there was a big area behind with bbq and big screen and stuff too.

General viewing tickets are far more rough and ready!!

Tips for silverstone:

Buy little personal radios before you go, just make sure the go low enough, the frequency for silverstone radio is right at the low end of fm range at 87.7 and some cheap ones don’t go down to it.

Race programmes are £15 usually and are for sale everywhere if you want one

Food is expensive as is beer, think it was £6 a pint last time I was there. There’s not much if you’re gluten free as pretty much everything is something in bread

Plan toilet breaks in advance, there’s usually queues

Take sun cream, even if it’s cloudy you’ll burn as there’s not much cover- take a hat for same reason

Merch is cheaper online, unless you want to try before you buy just get it beforehand

Week 2 of testing not being shown of Sky despite them having the rights to show it  However the twitter army have got Ted Kravitz back.

Mercedes have brought completely redesigned bodywork this week - 1500 new parts rumours say
They must have thrown crazy amounts of money and resources at it to have designed 2 sets of bodywork last year whilst updating their 2018 car until the last race. If they don’t win the championship again then that will be quite embarrassing!

What’s this set of body work like then?

Didn’t really make a difference or apparently wasn’t allowed to. Frank seems intent on dragging the team into the grave with himself.
