Liked that - and good on him getting the clog down properly on the autobahns

Some discussion on the Lotus Forum as to whether the tanks on Harry’s car are linked. (Early cars not, later cars are apparently).
More on this story as details emerge.

Enjoyed that, his winter trip videos are generally pretty good.
Shame that the Land Rover is getting slowly destroyed as a tourist attraction but that place looks amazing.

Does seem a bit strange to pay that much money for one of the actual film cars and then leave it to get damaged by idiots - a fraction-of-the-price replica would have less kudos, but has to be more suitable for the purpose??
Separately, stunt-driving from the roof of a RR sounds like fun.

I hope he does a long trip in a 205GTI next. If the S4 Esprit was run so close by the 205, surely the S3 would be beaten?

Yes and yes.
£200k or thereabouts
Didn’t realise it was Mark Higgins and team who did the stunt driving.

Mik did you specifically ask Harry to mention the high speed testing...

I'll part-ex the Panamera at a loss, that normally brings him out of the woodwork.

You've probably given him a migraine

He's going to stay well hidden now you have ammunition to use against him

That Porsche looked horrible, that ride quality would put me off within a few hundred metres so I can’t understand how people put up with it ?
Dave!

The ride quality & noise seemed appalling - and that's on the "standard" 911 right?
Cracking video though, am loving his stuff and its clear how much he loves making them.

It's strange as a few years ago, the mags were raving how compliant the suspension on Porsche's had become. From Harry's footage, that 911 seems to suffer from more road/tyre noise and a worse ride than my 27 year old 968 !

My 997’s suspension is spot on in standard mode - much more reasonable than a BMW on m-sport suspension IME.
You never use the sport setting other than on a track. It’s was something Harris always said and I was sceptical but it’s completely true.
I’ve been looking increasingly at 991.1 GTSs recently but the ride (and lowered ride height) would be things that give me concern living in the land of speed cushions.
