That's odd because I remember it being the G30 5 series which were bloody awful for blinding you. I don't notice anymore so they must have fixed it.

Lights being too bright seems odd, surely there must be some obvious limit, I wonder how that recall will be handled as that's a lot of headlights !!!

The limit for a normal halogen is 55w, but quite how that translates to more efficient light sources I have no idea, and I expect there’s some weird get-around for lights with multiple individual sources.
