Lotus promo vid for the Emira 420.

I like the visuals, but the 420 uses the AMG 4-pot. Whereas the soundtrack on this vid sound rather more like the Toyota V6 than the AMG unit.....

Am I losing my mind? (And my "Silver" achievement in the old Phillips Golden Ears challenge)?

Yup rightly skeptical if that isn't just a V6 recording they've done enough digital audio processing shenanigans to make it sound like one. I do not believe the I4 would sound anything like that IRL.

I've got golden ears too , back in 2015 so probably rather tarnished these days. I wish there was a decent replacement challenge but I've not found one. I still have the filtering part challenge notes in my email
