I am really tempted by something like this, in my head I’m being really sensible as it’s 4wd so great in the winter, 4 seats so one of the kids can stay home and dogsit while the rest of the family go on a road trip. Plus it’s likely to increase in value better than a negative interest savings account etc. On the negative side, I’m not sure it would be more fun the my mx5 without hitting licence losing speeds.
You'd always be better spending a few grand more and getting a .2 3.6 which will retain its value more. Same performance as a .1 3.8 and much less dated NAV.
I can't remember exactly what Hartech do but given it is an open block design I would have thought they always have the potential to score again down the line though maybe not whilst you owned it to be honest...
Having said that, the cheapest manual coupe gen 2 with equivalent miles now appears to be nearly 40k!
I started reading the ad and when I saw "FULL MASERATI HISTORY", I thought "YEAH RIGHT" given the minimum annual service schedule and Maser dealer pricing always seeming to be four figures...
Within three lines that had been demoted to "FULL MASERATI SERVICE HISTORY ( MAIN AGENT and SPECIALIST )"
@duncs500 I have a SELOC account but I've never really used the site. Got a link? Is it Renmure? Also has an Ultima? He has a build thread for a Lister Bell Stratos on ScottishElises but it is a slow moving project.
He now has a separate build website. Hadn’t appreciated that he found a 3.2 to slot into it.
I am still keeping an eye on this. Latest update “ Getting there. PPF next then decals”.

No - Duncs was asking the same question above - AFAIK (I am not following the build) DrH is also building a Lister Bell car but in green. This belongs to a bloke up North with username Renmure.

I'm liking the look of this a lot. I love the proportions, those wing mirrors and the lines although the front bumper is maybe a bit fussy.
