Love it, but can't help but feel that cars like these are irreverent these days.

15 years old, expensive to fix, £575 p/yr VED, 18MPG (ok this one is LPG'd), expensive tyres and servicing.

A mate of mine bought a project 7er off our old boss. It’d been sat for about 5 years but he’s bringing it back to life. He paid £500 and is entering a scumball-type rally with it next year. It’s a “poverty” spec 745i but the kit it has is pretty cool, especially the billion-way adjustable seats.

He’s making into a Mad Max MFP Interceptor tribute for the rally with a few acres of vinyl wrap and a light bar

Age has not been kind to their looks!

I think I prefer this one for the same money (edit: ah, that's gonna go up in price)
