Bit headachey and a bit shitbummy yesterday, and got dropped a couple of times from my Zwift ride. The missus has been worse than me, but feeling better this evening. From all accounts if you get away from the 1st AZ vax without any side effects whatsoever then you're doing pretty well.

I know loads of people who've had the AZ vaccine with no side effects at all.

I've had my first jab this morning (AZ). It was done at a local-ish medical centre, all very efficient and quick. Didn't feel a thing either.
You will tomorrow.
Felt slightly "odd" the day after and had a very slight ache in my arm for a couple of days.

I also had the AZ.
Sore arm for 2 days. Very mild flu-like āachey bonesā the day after.
Aka absolutely nothing to complain about.

Had the AZ jab on Saturday. Had slightly sore eyes on Sunday morning and started to feel like I was coming down with a cold. Had two paracetamol and haven't felt anything since.

I've got my jab booked for Friday. Not sure what type I'll be getting but any side effects will just ruin my weekend.

You should book it for the start of the week, then you'll be safe in the knowledge that you can have a couple of sick days off work without your weekend being bummed.

THe EU are shifting it up a gear again - this time pondering export bans on Pfizer and Moderna products to the UK becuase of the AZ shortfall. Even as far as lying that Pfizer and Moderna have not had a shortfall. Meanwhile millions of AZ vaccines sit unused within EU nations because of the pause on jabs which appears to many to be purely political (and maybe also commercial).
Fvcking loons.

They've gone full retard, and you never go full retard. The utter incompetence of them over AZ from start to finish has been an utter sham, meanwhile thousands of Europeans die. They order 3 months late, blame AZ for production ramp issues because they ordered late, advised against it's use in order 65s, changed their minds on that, invoked the NI protocol then had to row back on that, Macron said it's 'quasi effective', Merkel said she wouldn't have it, millions go unused in warehouses but they still complain they're not getting what they ordered, now they're threatening this.
Christ what an utter bunch of useless incompetent amateurs.

I hope they're sending their unwanted vaccines to third world countries and not just letting them expire in warehouses.
A few people getting blood clots per million, which could be from other factors anyway, but a small price to pay compared to death for 2000 people per million who would otherwise get covid.

Re the EU what more can I say
It would be nice to be able to travel there this Summer tho. I did think about printing up a batch of cards and selling them to the antivaxxers in case they fancied a trip. It does raise a valid question how do you prove you've had the job? With the business card they give you when you go for the jabs? Easy to make some of those.
