Maidstone Sports Cars are the main Lotus specialist around here but no idea if they're any good. I've seen them advertised on some cars going round Brands Hatch so maybe they know a bit.

I almost posted if its a hunter rig equipped place just walk away but thought better of it. I had a customer take his v6 for new tyres after i'd geo'd it and they stuck it on a hunter machine without asking and gave him a completely spurious set of readings, so he then drove 10 minutes up the road to another hunter rig and got a completely different set of readings. They might be expensive machines but I wouldn't let the donkeys that drive them geo my lawn mower.
Everyone foams at the mouth at 340r settings without realising they're about as vanilla as it gets. Take it somewhere like steve williams or backontrack or whoever else is down there and actually geo's elises for a living.
THe 340R setting worked really well on my S1. I did over 30 trackdays in it.
What settings would you recommend over what the stated 340R settings are?
Its a perfectly good start point.
It depends on what wishbone bushes you have, what tyres you run and what your intended use is. There's no one size fits all.

I don't even know how you set up my car
@dan, I just trusted that it would be right, and it is.

Rich, does your van have a towbar? (Or should that be toebar?) Borrow a trailer, drive up to Dan’s, mountain bike around the Lake District for the weekend and pick up a fully sorted (for now) Elise on the way back.. easy!

I'm free this Saturday - stick me on the insurance, you can keep the Up as collateral, I'll drive it to Dan's and bring it back for you and advise in my expert* opinion whether Dan's done it right
*this may be a slight exaggeration

Surely the right option is for @dan to buy a lorry, convert it to a mobile garage with a two and four post lift, then travel the length and breadth if the country servicing Lotii.

I do enjoy how everyone thinks that Dan has just been sitting around waiting for an ov9er to come and give him something to do... at this time of year he's probably up to his eyeballs.

Can’t be that far.. I can cover both with my thumb on a map!

Tbh, i thought Dan was northern and was north of Manchester, not from Dudley! Actually, Birmingham is even better, Rich doesn’t even after take a half-day before dropping it off!..
Can you not use the string method and organise a proper setup afterwards?
I’d offer to help but sat on a beach in Barbados with a load of drunk girls for a couple of days
Does this help?
