I've only just watched this, suprised it seems to be Tiff's own car.
He gives that impression, but I don’t think it is - have seen the same car being used by others
But he says at various points "I paid X for <option>" - some on SELOC reckon it's just some strange first-person presentation style, but seems odd if it is.

Yeah I had the same response, but I think they are right. Unless he loaned it to this dude for a test too….?

Might have. No idea who that fella is, and he's the only one I can find who's driven it after a search on the plate...
Note his YT video also references him driving the car in the Summer, and he also posted about the perfect 2 car garage here in January.
I still blows my mind that Geely didn't go through Lotus like a dose of proverbial and sort it tf out.
Economies of scale will stomp on you all day long unless you're at the very very boutiquest end of the market.

I considered this car too expensive at circa £75k when the first edition came out, back when the quality issues were still unknown it looked poor value compared to a cayman. An inflation busting nigh on 50% rise is insane.
Hmmm has an Emira ever competed at Bathurst? (Not that I know of).
I'm happy to take delivery of one on your behalf though Mik

Yeah it’s a bit of a weird one, although SSC have been upgrading Lotuseses for some time, so there is at least a smidge of heritage to draw on. Bathurst just sounds good.

Surprisingly cheap parts for a main dealer. I've been told it's more labour intensive to do a clutch swap on an Emira too, but not sure how true that is.
Either way, at 16k surely you'd have to be riding that clutch like it owes you money?

I’d bet either pulling away like my mother, high revs and slow off the clutch, or fast and furious-ing it, launching it everywhere, changing gear like it’s an on/off switch so it slams back together, and no throttle blips on high revviing downchanges
