Movie looks good though. They probably just CGed his face onto whoever was actually flying the plane.
Um - do people really think Tom Cruise was thrown an F18 and told to give it his best shot?!! - of course it's CGI FFS
It's well documented that he said he wouldn't do the sequel if CGI was used. He was flying jets just not current serving US jets as the navy won't allow civilians to fly them.

Yep totally agree mate, it was just the comment above that "oh yeah it's probably CGI" that set this off. Let's move past it now

NO! I came here for the full hour long argument and it's only been 15 minutes so far.

Not bad at all. Excellent effects. Moves along at a decent pace, although the writing is a bit sloppy. Not too narmy. Worth a poke if you like your sci fi stuff.

I was fairly meh on the Anime version 20years ago but thoroughly enjoyed the new one. Fight scenes were outstanding.

Yesterday
Inoffensive gentle comedy that could’ve been so much more interesting. It seems that the only impact of The Beatles not existing is that Oasis never happen. Surely it would change the entire face of pop music? The film is also let down by the fact that Lily James is reduced to playing a role of female who can only be complete by falling in love with the male protagonist despite the fact he’s a bit of a pointless man child. A waste of an intriguing concept.

It's hard to believe she's been giving Gary and Tony the lob on for over 25 years

Went to see MIB, it was not on early enough so saw the new Aladdin. I nearly walked out after 5 or 10 minutes it was so pish, Will Smith lifted a bit but for me Genie stole the show as voiced by Robin Williams and although WS was good (and did not try and be an identical genie) it was not a successful remake.
That is why I should double check show times!

You nearly walked out and still gave it 3 stars?
By all accounts, its a toss up between MIB and Aladdin as to which one is worse, so I shall expect a 4 review of the former very soon.

Well it did improve but you are correct 2 would have been a fairer reflection.

New The Lion King is practically irredeemable. John Oliver is no Rowan Atkinson, Chiwetel Ejiofor is no Jeremy Irons and repeat for every single cast member. Even James Earl Jones 2019 is no James Earl Jones 1994.
