Not a spotted , ut a first look at the F-Pace SVR before any UK press / dealers / customers have got their hands on one.

Ubiqutous JLR 'charged 5.0 V8.

Arch extensions are rather clumsy.

Presumably it’ll be a chunk cheaper than the RRS SVR?

Yeah - circa £75k.

Lighter, so may be quicker too. RRS SVR is on 295/40/22 all round whereas this is 295/35/22 rears (with same-as-mrs-mik's) 265/40/22 fronts.

Mik, I don't think you know what the 'spotted' thread is for.

I thought the Range Rover Sport SVR was just a £5000 option until I bothered to look one up as 1 in 3 of them seem to be a SVR

Howmanyleft records approx 2.5k RRS SVR

No idea how accurate that is.

There are at least 4 in my locale

I don't mind the arch extensions, though they appear to have an unnecessary join where the bumper and wing panels meet.

The rear valance with the exhausts in looks like something designed by Mick Newey though. And not in a good way (is there such a thing?)

New Ford GT in a layby on the A11 Sunday night - looked like something from outer space!

I saw a new NSX yesterday, it was couple of cars in front so no picture. It basically looked like a Mclaren.

There’s a new NSX outside the Aston dealer in Cheltenham. Looks great; I don’t think it looks like anything else. It looked good enough to justify its price. I’d like one.

They appeal in that they look alright and should cost peanuts to maintain.

Future vision of Jobbo once he gets his offroader. This is impressively far from land and on the way to nowhere so they must have just been dicking around, stayed there for few tides:

I've only seen these in bright colours before, black really shows the dumpyness of it and that rear diffuser looks like it's off a mild focus:

Sadly the herd is thinning. Back in the 90s even my school carpark was full of all manner of skylines, silvias, a random Skygea, familia gtx/gtr, rx7s and 3s because we were the dumping ground for old tat that was too muppeted or thrashed for resale in Japan but awsume by our standards. We also don't have mandatory insurance so 3rd party was still pretty cheap since the companies can't take the piss otherwise no one would buy it. A new law came in making it harder for dealers to bring in cars over a certain age, petrol prices kept rising (not sure how to compare $/L to furlongs per thrupence), and cars older than 2000 need a warrant of fitness every 6 months which is a hassle and increases the chances of older cars getting too expensive to keep legal.

I was wondering if NZ is a bit more laidback than the nanny state your Aussie neighbours have to tolerate. Seems like it's the same, sadly :(

First new Jimny spot yesterday. In a distinctly unimpressive silver/grey colour.

Looked a lot less G-Wagen in reality than I was expecting, and much more retro-Jap - like a J40
