Certainly better than Chris Martin's singing with Stormzy.

I saw The Cure at Finsbury Park (Xfm festival in 1993) and it felt like they were doing a greatest hits set then. Haven't watched the Glasto set and I will, of course, but it doesn't really make Glasto any less mainstream/dad rock, does it?
I was at the one too!
And saw them at Wembley in 91 for The Great British Music Weekend (first and only time seeing NMA at Wembley). What a line up...

Watching this eve but off on hols in Caterham tomorrow
Details required!
Thanks for noticing my subtle hint (clang!) Marv

Aberystwyth mountain road yesterday, challenging and pretty empty, then down A487 (surprisingly quiet for a June Sunday) to St David's for a week. Weather amazing... So far

Post what you're up to if you haven't already!
Nice pic
Yeah, weather has been amazing in Wales (Was there last week on my motorbike, put a reply in the Motorbikist thread, but not many people seemed interested!!)

Hey don't confuse a lack of response for a lack of interest

Courteeners were good, Cure were good and the sound engineering on them was fucking brilliant, Chemical brothers were actually ace IMO, better than I anticipated they'd be. Liam gallagher was laughably bad but the Killers were worse, the mix was fucking atrocious, levels everywhere and the performance was like shit karaoke. Oh Wu-tang was like a load of old men who'd seen a video of Wu-tang and were trying to copy it, was fucking awful. Kylie good, vocals were really good in fact. Plus you'd still shag the arse of her too so there's that.

I find Liam Gallagher quite entertaining for some reason
The Cure - exceptional. Top of their game and the sound and lighting was seriously impressive.

That was shockingly bad and cringeworthy.

I have a free pass from the wife to crack on with Kylie, should the opportunity ever arise. Which I'm sure it will at some point.

It's just a matter of time Dave, hang on in there. And respect to your Mrs for probably fancying the Aussie minx a little bit herself, by the sounds

Oh really? What was your first clue that the festival that originally took place at the summer solstice, has a pyramid stage aligned with ley lines, sponsored by Greenpeace and attended by hippies since its inception is a bit lefty? Fucking balloon.

100% nailed on. I've also no doubt that Kylie would be up for it, too. I hear she has a thing for pale, balding, slightly plump, middle-aged IT nerds.

Well frankly the deal is as good as done, isn't it. If by any chance you could ask her what her thoughts are on middle-aged bald currently-unemployed racist expats who knock up their ex-gfs, that would be just dandy

I watched Miley Cyrus last night on the iPlayer and she made Kylie look like an amateur.
Yep, I said it

Miley spent so much time being annoying poeole need reminding how stupidly talented she is. She'd get it as well, by the way. Her and Kylie can argue about who gets the first load.
