Lalalala children are our future.......
Re: Lalalala children are our future.......
You needn't worry lads, I believe the latest calculations show that at present it's probably not possible for humans to render the earth uninhabitable. Extinction of intelligent life yes, but that was always going to happen.
Re: Lalalala children are our future.......
GOING TO happen? It's done, isn't it?

Re: Lalalala children are our future.......
I think that is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me!

I don't know man. If the report about extinction rates in insects that's just came out is accurate, the whole global ecosystem is going to be in a pretty bad way within the next 100 years or so.duncs500 wrote: Mon Feb 11, 2019 10:41 am You needn't worry lads, I believe the latest calculations show that at present it's probably not possible for humans to render the earth uninhabitable. I try and live a responsibly as I can, recycling, trying to buy my food as locally as possible etc. It feels about as useful as pissing on a forest fire sometimes when you look at the way we're still pillaging the world on an industrial level but it's better to do something than nothing.
An absolute unit

Sorry, yeah, I couldn't remember the term for all life other than the weird stuff at the bottom of the oceans.ZedLeg wrote: Mon Feb 11, 2019 11:10 amI don't know man. Re: Lalalala children are our future.......
It is a shithole, being up north has nothing to do with it- look up the history of the river tees if you want an environmental recovery story, the amount of pollution from the thriving Chemical industry back in the day rendered the river pretty much dead- in the 1970s the water flowed a dark brown colour- there’s a reason we’re known as smoggys on Teesside.evostick wrote: Sun Feb 10, 2019 9:13 amIs it not a northern shithole then?jamcg wrote: Sun Feb 10, 2019 8:54 am
Move to Stockton, ours all gets burned in the energy from waste plant, none of our rubbish goes to landfill
A gargantuan incinerator is currently being constructed next to junction 12 of the M5. I presume that all our unwanted shit will be going there in the near future. They are making it increasingly difficult for the council tax payer to take stuff to landfill around here. They've started shutting the tips on random days to cut down on the waste that they take in.
Unsurprisingly, there's a hell of lot more fly-tipping than there used to be. A crime that should be taken a lot more seriously than it is in my book.
I'd hang the cunts tbh.
I should add that as good as this plant sounds for the environment they also bring in rubbish from Most of Northumberland and tune and wear areas- all brought in by artics via road link. There’s also one in the old ici Wilton site that brings in rubbish from Redcar and Cleveland areas and Liverpool- think that comes in by rail link.
As for fly tipping, we live in a Victorian built area, mostly terraced street houses with back alleys that are always full of fly tipped furniture and other shite, despite us having a recycling centre where you can pretty much take whatever you want as long as you don’t show up in a commercial vehicle. Absolutely boils my piss
Re: Lalalala children are our future.......
What do you do with medicine packaging, the bubbled plastic with metal film on it?
Re: Lalalala children are our future.......
Take it to your local butcher.
Re: Lalalala children are our future.......
Ah yes, and from him to the abbattoir, from there to the farmer, from him to the cattle feed.
Re: Lalalala children are our future.......
Yes, and use an A380 to do it.
