I don’t think the autofocus has improved much in terms of speed on the newer phones - I still get plenty of out of focus shots trying to snap the little’un doing stuff.
I’m still loving the fakery-Jakey depth of field portrait mode though. It doesn’t always get it right (a slatted chair confused the hell out of it the other day), but on the whole it turns very average snaps into nice “print out worthy” snaps imo.

He is definitely a little dude, he does this thing (mainly to attractive women in shops/doctors surgeries/cafes) where he stares them in the eyes, smiles then turns his head onto the side. Works a treat!

iphone 6 currently.
Going to buy a new one though. Either an 8 or an X. Probably an X as I'm told they are better in poor light conditions.
