Bloody nora, the way it gets to 300kmh anywhere there's a straight (and where the straight is long enough just blows through it like it was nothing) is hilarious.

Wow. Like a vid on fast forward and agree with beany about the speedo. 230mph on the straight too.

210 through some corners. Two hundred and ten! Miles per hour!

And remember it's generating eleventy tons of downforce while it's piling on the speed - 1200 bhp speaks volumes!

The way it bobs around at top speed on the final straight. How on earth do you keep your foot in when it's doing that to you!

And it was bouncing off the limiter most of the way down the big straight!

I wonder how fast that electric VW Pikes Peak thing could do it in.

The wing and splitter look totally unsuited to the Nurburgring and it actually has much less power than the 919 - so optimised for a tight hillclimb, not for a track like the Nurburgring where VMAX was 229mph.

I still reckon a 2004 era F1 car would be faster.
