My to-be-fixed - after a morning in the desert on the quad, all of a sudden it was 1WD. Basically the left hand wheel carrier had stripped its splines - the bright side was it was very, very good at digging one really big hole when you hit the gas, and left handers were a cinch
- but discretion won and I limped it back to the car.
Not an expensive part and an easy fix. Happened 7 years ago so I'll probably post a similar whinge in 2025.
