6s battery done in about 5 mins this evening, hopefully it'll last more than 8 hours now

I was just reading that if you're a bit rough inserting the charging cable you can knacker up the connection inside the phone. Are you a bit rough? Are you giving your iphone the equivilent of a good hour of foreplay and a tub of lube?
