Slight topic twist, which of the dealer options is best/easiest to deal with? FiL is wanting to sell his car (62 plate Mk6 Golf Match 1.4TSi DSG w/70k miles) as he'll probably have to give up driving due to health issues. Either way it is a second car that spends most days sat unused in front of the house, so even if he can continue to drive, they use the Jazz.

I've sold 3 cars to WBAC.

We've used WBAC a few times as well, hassle free and twice we've had their offer increase after they saw the car.

I’ve sold to Arnold Clarke as their offer was much higher. Painless to do

Taken a deposit on the i3s today and has been a totally different experience. A constant flow of enquiries from you city dwelling ulez folk, 2 offers at what i wanted for it and then both send me a deposit within 20 minutes of each other so now I'm paying for 1 of their train tickets from London Paddington as he can't cancel it, balls!

Still a decent result and just reinforces that the game hasn't changed but selling oldish Alfa's is tough

We put my daughter's GT86 up for sale just before Xmas and like my i3s a totally different experience to trying to flog the Mito

Half a dozen enquiries asking sensible questions over a few weeks and just one telling me we're asking 25% too much lol

Lovely young guy turns up today, good look over the car and a test drive and off he goes after a polite haggle.

I'll do a little EOTR later this week.

Not yet, the one she wants is in Grimsby which is 200+ miles away so I'll give them a call later to see if delivery or a nearer dealer is an option.
