Easy, blob of grip fill on the spirit level and bobs your granny.Rich B wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2024 1:23 pm That's hilarious!
Though in all seriousness, how would you go about planning and building a wonky pub?! If you follow building regs I bet you wouldn't be allowed to!?
I've no understanding of any of this, but what do you think might be in it?Jobbo wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2024 2:02 pm The enforcement notice will definitely be appealed - I look forward to reading the appeal documents because they will inevitably contain a lot of juicy background.
Some evidence of how it came to set on fire then be knocked down possibly.DaveE wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2024 2:23 pmI've no understanding of any of this, but what do you think might be in it?Jobbo wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2024 2:02 pm The enforcement notice will definitely be appealed - I look forward to reading the appeal documents because they will inevitably contain a lot of juicy background.
I have hear this said a lot, sadly there is a lot of truth to it. However, I can think of a dozen chain pubs near me just a 5 to 10 minute drive away. There's also some lovely independent pubs and restaurants a bit further out, up to 30 minutes. I much prefer seeking out unique food, even if it means a bit of a longer drive.Jobbo wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2024 11:06 pm I can see them winning an appeal though. They can probably justify demolition on the grounds that it’s not commercially viable as a pub.
